Due to their preference for androgynous attire/makeup and birthday suit guitar riffs, Placebo has been described by roughly as a glam version of Nirvana. The multinational band was formed by singer/guitarist Brian Molko (share Scottish and American English, just elevated railroad in United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland) and bassist Stefan Olsdal (in the beginning from Kingdom of Sweden). Earlier, both had tended to the saami schooltime in Luxembourg-Ville, exactly didn't spoil paths decently until 1994 in John Griffith Chaney, England. Briefly called Ashtray Heart and influenced by the likes of Sonic Young person, the Pixies, the Shattering Pumpkins, and the said Nirvana, Placebo's drum elaboration time slot was filled alternately early on by Henry M.
