Hailing from Poland, home to some of the world's most undue heavy metallic element bands, the controversially named Christ Agony was the inspiration of oracular, e'er present drawing card Cezar (vocals/guitar), whose youth cohorts included bassist Mauser and drummer Gilan. Emerging in the early ‘90's with the Unholy Union L.P., Cezar's iniquity crew cursorily proven as daringly imaginative as they were conceptually shocking, issue a string of L.P.'s (including 1994's Daemononseth: Act II and 1995's Moonlight: Act III) which bit by bit evolved from savagely unprocurable to more and more sophisticated, culminating in 1996's surprisingly melancholy leaving Darkside. Following a European circuit with fellow Polish favorites Behemoth, Cezar committed some time to his side project Moon in front resuming his work with Christ Agony (at present featuring bassist Blackie and drummer Thoarinus) for a couple of more than aggressive, punt to basic albums in ‘98's Trilogy and ‘99's Elysium.
