Doherty wants band to stop "arsing about"

Pete Doherty has admitted that his group Babyshambles need to pull themselves together if they are to be successful.

The singer told MTV News that the band have so far failed to achieve any significant financial reward.

"We need to sit down as a band and talk about the future," he said.

"What's happening and why, when and who with. [After] two years of arsing about, we could actually make money out of this job."

Doherty also revealed his frustration at having people think he is rich.

"I've just realised people are always saying to me, 'Yeah, but you can afford it' and I'm like, 'What's making them say that?'"
