Glastonbury sell tickets through record shops

Glastonbury 2008 tickets are to go on sale exclusively over the counter at HMV stores.

The tickets will go on sale at selected UK stores from Wednesday (June 11) at 8am (BST).

Festival goers have to provide their name, pay across the counter and then make sure that they bring personal photographic ID to the Festival when they arrive.

The HMV shops selling Glastonbury tickets are:

HMV Newcastle, 56 Northumberland Street
HMV Manchester, 90 Market Street
HMV Birmingham, 38 High Street
HMV Cardiff, 53 Queens Street
HMV London, 150 Oxford Street

Glastonbury takes place at Worthy Farm, Somerset over the weekend of 27-29 June.
