St. Louis-based Jibbs began committal to writing raps at an early age in an effort to impress his older brother, DJ Beatz (wHO was gaining a reputation locally producing tracks for Nelly and Chingy). The results so impressed his pal that he invited Jibbs into the studio to criminal record tracks that would go popular on the local circuit. The tracks started to spreading outside St. Louis and found themselves in the men of manufacture executives, which resulted in Jibbs opening for several superstars when they performed locally. He later gestural to Geffen Records, where his debut single, "Concatenation Hang Low," was the well-nigh popular rap music download on iTunes in August 2006. His debut album, Jibbs Featuring Jibbs, followed in October.
