German dance duet Paffendorf first-class honours degree strike the scene in 1998, when DJs Ramon Zinker and Gottfried Enkels released their debut single, Smile, followed by RUF (Mich An) and Exterminator II, winning them countrywide accolades from fans and critics alike. Paffendorf's debut full-length, Dance City, came out in 2000, and after issuing various more successful singles (Be Cool, Rhythm & Sex, Where Are You, among others), the group released Planet Dance in 2006.
