Bill Clinton on tap for Elvis Costello show

Lou Reed, Elton John also will make appearances

TORONTO -- Former U.S. president and saxophonist Bill Clinton will be featured in an episode of the new Elvis Costello-hosted talk/music series set to air on the Sundance Channel in the U.S., CTV in Canada and Channel 4 in the U.K.
Canadian broadcaster CTV said Thursday that Clinton, Lou Reed, Tony Bennett and Elton John are the subjects of the first four episodes of "Spectacle: Elvis Costello With ...," a series from Toronto-based Tri-Fi Prods. and Elton John's Rocket Pictures.
CTV said Clinton will not perform on the sax during his one-on-one session with Costello, but will instead talk about how music shaped his early career aspirations and White House tenure.
Clinton and Elton John have collaborated extensively on AIDS fundraising, prompting the invitation for the former U.S. president to take part in the series.
