Dizzee Rascal gets Glastonbury bouncing
Dizzee Rascal got the Park Stage crowd at Glastonbury bouncing tonight (June 27) at the Park Stage with an energetic set punctuated by singalongs.
Taking the stage to the sound of air raid sirens, flanked by two flaming pillars, the east London rapper delighted the crowd with hits including 'Just A Rascal' and 'Sirens'.
Opening with 'I Luv U', the stars shouted "I'm Dizzee Rascal from London city," promting mass cheers.
The rain had stopped by the rapper's set, although the area around the Park Stage was still covered in mud. However, Dizzee still managed to keep his brand new trainers box fresh.
Later in the set, Dizzee called on the crowd to become more boistrous. "Where's all my rowdy crew?", he asked, prompting the crowd to amp up their cheers and dancing.
Dizzee Rascal ended the set with 'Dance Wiv Me', his forthcoming Calvin Harris-produced single, which duly prompted manic dance moves from the huge crowd.
Dizzee Rascal played:
'I Luv U'
'Paranoid'
'Where Da Gs'
'Stop Dat'
'Just A Rascal'
'Bubbles'
'Sirens'
'Stand Up Tall'
'Old Skool (Pussy'Ole)'
'Dance Wiv Me'
