One of the Czech Republic's first-class honours degree extreme metal bands, Maniac Butcher was formed in 1992, ahead Czechoslovakia's peaceable chip, and went on to release a handful of albums and even more singles and mini-releases before crumbling toward the ending of the decennary. All of these contained only minor deviations from the misanthropic, vague, and in spades lo-fi mordant metal blueprint favorite by many European resistance alloy bands of the '90s (Darkthrone, early Mayhem, etc.), and saw numerous parttime musicians collaborating with ever-present, corpse-painted brace, Barbarud Hrom (vocals) and Vlad Blasphemer (guitar, bass, drums).
