Ian Brown hurts eye in stage incident

Ian Brown has been treated for an eye injury after an incident involving a fan at a gig in Sheffield.

The musician is thought to have been pulled from the stage during the fracas at the Carling Academy on Friday.

Brown played at the Isle of White Festival on Saturday with one eye covered.

"I got pulled off the stage yesterday," he told fans. "I had to have stitches. I've still got one eye on you, though."

South Yorkshire police said the incident is not being investigated.
