Gwyneth Paltrow - Paltrows Obsessive Past

GWYNETH PALTROW can relate to her role in movie TWO LOVERS - because she was once obsessed with an ex-boyfriend.

The actress - who is now happily married to Coldplay star Chris Martin - plays a woman who is obsessed with a married man in the upcoming picture.

And the 35-year-old reveals she was once besotted with an ex-boyfriend who often disappeared for long periods of time.

She says, "Mmm... yes I have (felt obsessive love). When I was younger I fell in love with someone. He wasn't married, but he was in to drugs. So he wasn't around when I needed him because of that.

"I became quite obsessed with why he didn't turn up when I wanted him to. I was raised by people who love me and I always felt good about myself, but I still got caught up - during that relationship - with thinking that he wasn't there because there was something wrong with me. I just couldn't understand why things weren't working out."
