Reyli Barba did quite substantially since his amicable divergence from longtime band Elefante. Having formed Elefante in the late '90s and light-emitting diode them to a good quantity of success aboard Spanish rocking chair JoaquÃn Sabina, Barba required more creative freedom than the well-established, even pigeonholed Latin alternative Elefante could put up. Though Elefante was known for creative musical ideas and first-class songwriting, Barba longed to be able to express his more affective, romantic side. Barba left Elefante in 2003, the same year that he released his solo debut, En la Luna, which was met with much herald. The radio receiver pip "Desde Que Llegaste" launched Barba into the public eye. The unmarried was featured in the Mexican picture Ladie's Night and remained on the charts for months. Another unmarried, "La Descarada," was featured in the year's most outstanding telenovela, Rubi, which introduced all of Latin America to Barba's newfangled feel of creative Latin drink down. The third base pip of his first record to make a plash in film/television was "Se Quien Soy," which was featured as the theme song for the Mexican variation of Cock-a-hoop Brother. Having sold over ccc,000 copies of his first-class honours degree freeing, it seemed that Barba's high-risk conclusion in going away Elefante was well made.
