Will Young bigs-up Kings Of Leon at Glastonbury
Will Young paid tribute to Kings Of Leon at Glastonbury today (June 28).
The Pop Idol singer said that last night's (June 27) Pyramid Stage headliners were "the only band I've left my Winnebago for this weekend" during his set on the Avalon Stage, which began at 6:30pm (BST).
"Weren't they just fantastic?" he added.
Playing a career-spanning set to a largely female crowd, Young rolled out the hits, including 'Leave Right Now' and 'Love Is A Matter Of Distance'. He also covered Joni Mitchell's 'Help Me'.
"It's taken me six-and-a-half years, but I've finally made it to Glastonbury," the singer said before performing 'Your Game'.
Before ending his set, Young got the crowd involved in the show, dragging a fan up on stage where he swapped hats with him.
